In the last couple of months the team has been preparing and organizing 2 different focus groups. This focus groups consists in small, diverse group of people and whose reactions are studied in an open discussion about a new product or something else to determine reactions that can be expected from a larger population. Consisting of interviews in which a group of people are asked about their perceptions, opinions, beliefs, and attitudes towards a product, concept, or idea. Questions are asked in an interactive group setting where participants are free to talk with other group members.
With this studies our goals are: -Understand how we can make Há-vita an interactive and participatory platform between locals from Madeira and its visitors: -To what extent and how are locals interested in interacting with tourists through an online platform leading to off-line activities?; -Feedback on Há-vita current strategies to support two-way interaction between locals and visitors?; – What other design strategies can be developed in Há-vita to support two-way interaction between locals and visitors? .
